Also…not to dirty up the other sale thread, re: 17x7 wheels:

You’re the one with boost experience on these buggies! I’ll be selling these after boost, unless you think these tires might actually hook (I doubt it, not enough sidewall)?

Soon, the boost will be arriving!

should be a kick ass little honda

The R6’s are the road racing compound. They take longer to get hot (stickey) since they are made to last doing several 20-30 min sessions on end. The Hoosier A6’s are the softer compound since they are for autox and don’t have to work nearly as long, however they have to be sticky right off the bat since they don’t have much time to warm up.

Honestly for drag I dunno how those tires would do, they have pretty stiff sidewalls for cornering purposes. Even taking lots of air outta them might not get the same effect as a purpose built drag tire. Its your call, but I figured I’d toss some info on them your way since I see people with these tires every weekend :bigthumb:

I dont know anything about those tires

steve ran yokohama parada spec 2’s they where neat.

i have a set of advan ao32’s there neat too.

I can vouce for BFG for straight line (as i told you before)

14.0 woot, time for boost!

14.0 very nice!

Thanks guys!

EG hatch, status of parts during run:

GSR complete swap
Skunk 2 Pro Intake
DC-Sports Short Ram Intake
DC-Sports 4-1 Header
ACT 6-puck clutch (sprung)
M/T 22x8 full-race slicks on Lenso 13" wheels
Chipped P28 with USDM P72 basemap
Rev limiter upp’d (forget exactly what we set it to, but it’s up over 8K)
unbolted exhaust/header & out

I made the following pass yesterday with a full tank of gas, full interior, 15 PSI in the slicks, unbolted exhaust (header dump). I launched it on the rev limiter and it hooked up very well.

nice

bolt on the mugen cover, 13.5 easy

good run

good run

Near future plans: I have procured a NOS bottle, solenoid and lines for spray: a dry 45 shot that will be controlled by MSD RPM range controller and rising rate or adjustable FPR. Hoping for lower 13’s on different plugs, timing adjustment & spray with the rest of the stuff already mentioned.

Meh, if I blow it up hopefully the other complete swap is sleeved by then and ready for some boost lovin’ by then.

If I don’t crack single digits by the end of the season, I’m thinking about doing a run with spray and boost to try and crack into single digits.

bgblockelcamino & rickoner tonight welded/bolted on a new exhaust, 3" from the collector-back with a nice pass-thru design muffler. This car is a whole new animal. I pulled 155 indicated (just as I figured it was better to examine the road) before I stopped lookin…it was still pulling when I stopped looking.

I’d guess I just did 150+ “real speed” with the new exhaust, given the speedo is off 1 MPH for every 10.

I am really impressed with this hatch. It surprises me every day I own it.
