I know this may sound awful to some of you, but I just don’t care anymore. Whatever happened to survival of the fittest? People have been dealing with bullying for millions and millions of years. Pick yourself up, and fight back, break someone’s fucking nose if you have to. I’m so sick of this fucking soft PC society. Only difference is that people here join and are active because they want to. This kid was at school where he wanted to be and was getting harassed for being there which also extended outside of school.
I am all for survival of the fittest and kids need to grow the fuck up in todays world but schools need to prevent making schools too uncomfortable and ganging up on kids to make school a place people don’t wanna be because of other students assaulting and beating up kids.
I got no support and made it out alive… I was harassed quite a bit in my youth. I got sucker punched by a soccer player, completely uninstigated, and I got suspended for being involved in a fight. Soccer player had a game… so he wasn’t punished b/c he needed to play in the game. Principal called me a cry baby in 7th grade with likely a busted nose covered in blood and I spit blood in his face. Jim Biryla, Fuck You to this day. He moved to the high school, and continues to be a piece of shit gym teacher who is a wanna be administrator. Schools are run by either Special Ed, or Phys ed teachers. Why? B/c after they get their masters it’s easy as pie b/c they don’t have any real “Work” to do at home, so night school is a breeze to get their administrator degree. Look it up, principals, superintendents, typically Phys ed, or Special Ed.
This seems pretty accurate as everytime I had to visit the principal I got some candy and asked how the season was shaping up. I got in a fight about 3 hours before a game and was told simply to save it for the field. My advice to any HS kid is to pick the sport that has a good record at the school and get good at it.
