Thats dumb…but expected i guess. I know when i bought my last engine from them and it was shipped, i needed to give the vin and some other info for it to go through customs so i was hoping there was something i could do and just take a day trip and go pick it up…
Have them take the vin plate off? Or tell them you don’t kno anything about it other then it’s a engine and tranny? I don’t think they give you a hassle about shipping as much as they do physically going over their and bringing it back.
LOL, what??? Since when? OR are you just assuming and have never bought a JDM motor from canada and brought it over? I bought a B18c from torontojdm a few years ago and between me and my friends over the years have purchased and brought over 5 honda JDM motors. Without an issue. Theres nothing to lie about. You tell the customs officer you purchased a used engine, show them the RECIEPT and they let you go.
Theres NO vin checking or any of that nonsense. What emissions are you talking about. How would they know what its going in?? Its a used engine, purchased LEGALLY. Come on, seriously why post sh*t like this.
