the seatbelts on my 180 are terrible. they will not retract while driving and you need to release the belt just so it will suck back up. not too sure whats going on here. anyone have this problem?
I know, they are all like that. The way to fix this is to look under your seat. There is a plug with 2 wires from your seat belt to wire loom under your carpet. Just simply unplug it and you will be happy!!!

yeah , I find myself always adjusting the slack on the belt at every light and it gets me worried at times … ESPECIALLY in silvias with those extensions that wrap around the seats off the pillar as a CONVENIENCE … make sure that plug is out like Allen said and when it gets some slack just press the release and pop it back in and it should take up the slack and you are good !

I think allen sayed to unplug the wires.
yeah unplugging them in my gtr made the seat belts stay tight.
