Jeff95TA's 383 LT1 Build

nice almost too clean to go in the bay

Finally fired it up today! Only ran for a few minutes tops. It didn’t want to idle and was running kinda rough. Need to check a few things, maybe readjust the rockers, see if I can get my free datalogger to work. Need to get it on the street to break it in though.

congrats

Looks awesome!

congrats jeff!!!

vrooooooom

Looks good, nice pics…

I was wondering about those VC’s and the alt when I saw that pic. Pretty good thinking with the alternator bracket. Are you still able to use the stock length belt?

very nice. A little too organized though.

I’d be worried about running that much SCR with that short of primaries, and V to P clearence. The LCA should make up for no A.I.R. but not for the TPS, or the VSS. The VC’s look very nice, but, hows the RA (rocker arm) to VT (valve tip) geometry? You made sure to INDX your spark plugs right?

hehehe,

good job

congrats

Used a longer belt.

Yep, SCR is high but DCR isn’t bad. Got rid of AIR, EGR, ABS and TCS, checked P to V. No chance for OPP.

And I wouldn’t congratulate me until I actually get it to idle!

awsome

did you check the dsl with the bvb to the dvd and then run with some pcp and swing over to your neaighbor for some opp??
