sweet!!! looks like you had some bad oil in the first motor. kinda dark looking but new setup looking sweet as hell. that 11.5 will really help with your DCR. have you figured that out yet? anything around or over 8.5 is tits

nice,# bolts & etc!!

congrats jeff on the progress…

i think my v6 camaro pan is going to look like that

ps i might need you math skills to maybe order some pistons

nice, can’t wait to see it run

wow… what a project. thats some time and effort there. keep the kids away from that nike box!

Contacted some people and it’s actually between 12.0 and 12.5:1 static compression ratio. Dynamic compression ratio is between 8.5 to 8.7:1. Probably closer to the lower, but I don’t have the actual cylinder head chamber volumes. There’s a shocker, a measurement that I actually skipped.

Very cool man! You obviously put a lot of time and thinking into your work and I’m sure it’ll show when it’s all finished up.

Nice Jeff

fuck!!! with a SCR of that and a ICL of 107 i would think your DCR would be higher but im not sure how that formula works

but damm thats going to sound wicked with that much SCR and that cam

you honestly are the most organized person I have ever seen! You probably would have a heart attack if you were down 1st try when we got 3 projects going on! hahah

looks awesome man!

That looks like it would be a fun project. Clean, and fun. Congrats sir.

MMMM, very nice.

looks good, hope everything goes good for you

Short story - driver’s side valve cover wouldn’t bolt up right, passenger side hit the rocker arms. Sent back to Canton to get fixed, bolt up now, and doesn’t hit rocker arm, but the alternator doesn’t clear.

Moved alternator and back in business on getting the engine running. Pretty aluminum. Thanks Pewter for the hardware for the template.

:boink

seems like a simple solution with alternator. good luck with rest of build

custom

Yeah, super custom fabrication! I can use a hacksaw and a drill press. lol
