Jesse's '94 M-Edition Miata. LS1 swap coming soon.

thats a good thing isnt it?:idb:

sweet

OK, so tonight’s update, just got in the door.

Bought a Griffin 26x19xthick as hell from SRP at a VERY reasonable price. Al is a great guy, and I’d recommend him to anyone.

New radiator mounting frame is welded in place. Will be finished and painted tomorrow. Looks badass, and it a 100% perfect fit. I couldn’t ask for it to be any better.

Axles are fully installed.

Clutch line is in, not installed yet.

Supra TT fuel pump is installed, Aeromotive regulator is waiting to go on tomorrow and finishing up the fuel system, along with heater hoses, radiator, a fan, radiator hoses, and probably some more that I am forgetting.

Pics tomorrow. I’m awfully tired.

sweeet:cool:

Jesse,
I guess all that time you spent around dsm’s has made you evil, purely evil, like some sort of mad scientist.
Coolest project on the forum, Keep us updated

Heh, thanks.

Don’t mind the really shitty welds. The welder I was using is essentially dead. I can’t even get it hot enough to penetrate the steel, so it was bubbling and popping… a lot!

Looks like it’s time for a new welder when this is all said and done. The bigger problem I’m going to have is figuring out how I’m going to weld together my exhaust now :frowning:

Edit : The grey overhang on the radiator support frame is padding that still needs to be trimmed a little bit.

Wow. Looks like you have the rest of it all cut out for ya! Can’t wait to see that thing.

now it just needs an intercooler

Look’n good jesse:cool:

awesome so close now. let me knwo if you need any mandrel bends for exhaust as i have them here if needed

Jeff, thanks, but I should have everything. Keyword should

I just need to ask around locally and see if I can borrow someones welder.

oh man is that amazing…

wow thats awesome. i cannot wait to see that thing run. what exactly are you building it for. is it gonna be a drag car?

Heh, it’s my daily driver. I was looking for something that I could drive every day reliably, get decent gas mileage, and go to the strip and thump out 130MPH passes.

This seemed to fit the bill. Although I think my wallet is pretty mad at me.

I think your wallet will get over it…looks great! Can’t wait to see it finished!

That’s disgusting man. Very unique.

Can’t wait to hear/see/maybe even ride in it if you’re feeling generous.

Tomorrow’s goal is to get the slave cylinder in, get the clutch line in, finish mounting the fuel system (all connected, just not mounted) finish hooking up coolant lines, and, if UPS graces my presence…

I will get the new master cylinder in, get the system bled, and start on the wiring.

With any luck, the car will be at the Irwin Car Cruise this Saturday.

WOW @ the engine pics…that thing is awesome lookin’!

WOW! Great work! I can’t wait to see this thing rip

With or without the hood?
