Yeah but this is far from an Anthony Bruschi and friends breaking into a big turbo jetta and bragging about it on facebook. Going through that ordeal, if it wasnt for guys here on shift helping find them, right from the investigators mouth “we never would have caught him with your stuff”… even after they already had him in custody for another crime he committed. Its alot harder than people think to get someone prosecuted after being caught redhanded than you think even with evidence you found slapped on the investigators desk.
And I still haven’t gotten a single restitution payment from that scumbag kid. Even after dozens of calls through out the year with DA’s, Judges, Investigators, Parole people… fucking justice system is so fucked they cant even pull the kid over and bring him in to a judge to force him to start paying or go back to fail.
Its completely hit or miss with car thefts from what I see.
