Kinda sorta, but lost interest after he released his statement. I think these chicks are out for money. You have really never heard of Jian Ghomeshi? I like a lot of his interviews that he does, not to mention the live shows like Holy Fuck

I think he smothered his father to gain sympathy for the upcoming legal proceedings…after he smacked him around a bit of course.
Toronto police now investigating allegations, which i read to be as much an investigation into those filing the complaints as it is into Jian.
in any event, i’ve now been in some heated exchanges over this. in the end, if his actions were criminal he should be charged but based on what i’ve read there either was no crime or certainly nothing that would warrant actual charges. If the claims cannot be substantiated then Jian stands to have quite the case against the CBC and maybe even against each of the women who are coming out.

seems there were like 5,000 texts between two of the victims and some suggestion that they collaborated but that may be a minor point. Most of the media is focusing on the victims… it’s really an interesting cultural issue.

This is all over Canadian media but I’ve never seen anything about it in the US.
