Jiffy Lube in Sewickley, PA

they dont check it at the advance in bethel either I took 5 gallons down 2 weeks ago

both Penn Hills stores do.

how do they check it, honestly?

They have some type of meter with a metal probe they stick in the oil. I never seen it done before either so I asked them what it was and they told me.

Before you used to beable to just go to the back of the store and empty your container. Now its locked, you have to have it metered and then inital the reading :dunno:

or neighbor’s yard.

I prefer the fire pit :mullet:

Auto zone or advance (whatever its called) right down the road from west mifflin HS takes used oil.

do places like this take synthetic?

its autozone on homeville road

yes they do. they have no clue if its syth. or conventional

take it to the dealership, for christ’s sake… it’s only a couple dollars more than jiffy lube. Courtesy Suzuki has done most of mine on the Reno… I think they run about $23.

If not the dealership, I go to the Sears in the Pittsburgh Mills… Other than that sketchy Jackie chick with the Talon they seem to know what’s up

cant change your own oil???

Yes, guys, I can change my own oil. It’s a fairly simple process.

I just don’t have anywhere to do so. On-street parking on a hill. It’s worth it to me to pay the extra 15-20 and just have it done.

!?-The Dealer? I’ve got to make an appointment like 2 weeks in advance, and then sit there for an hour-and-a-half? I don’t think so.

Anyway, they did pay for the damage, and offered me free changes (left those on the counter) to keep me as a customer. It’s not gonna work.

i know the managers there. i used to work at the cranberry one. fuck jiffy lube man i can tell somehorror stories about that place
