I just remember it being the only time that my car was finally running right.

I remember being tied with yougososlo (black vette, old dude, geeky as fuck) til about 140. Then I fixed a simple wastegate issue and pulled 7 cars on him a week later. Then DOS running deat nuts even with him and DOS being on my sack for a month to race him. :bowdown:

I’ll give Justin credit because he did race alot when he had that white firebird. The vette and bird was a close race. I think the 69 and firebird went at it at firetower. Let the kid get his car finished and I’m sure he’ll be out racing anything that moves.

What it comes down to is the car I bought wasn’t what I expected oh well life moves on.

The idea was to cam what I thought was a car that needed little paint and minor work and drive the car DD in summer

The point im at now is the car is going to be a weekend warrior that I drive to and from the track and cruise nights.

I have no interest in racing a T56 with a spec clutch/blowing up a 10bolt racing/spinning at 60mph on street tires which is why all this is getting handled over winter…since I spent those funds making the car drivable and somewhere reliable.

Now people will question why I painted it so soon? Well the hood wouldn’t close, fenders were jacked up and rubbing the wheels, bumper was barley hanging, and a couple other things making it not very desirable to drive or safe now that stuff is resolved and it looks nice.

Noone has a problem with what you are doing to your car, or what you have planned for your car.
