I thought I was getting a car that ran/drive/looked ok with minimal issues that wasn’t the case I spent a shit ton of money unfucking things and it put me 6 months behind schedule. I have been spending all available free time working on the car this summer however work/traveling/life have been taking away from that.
I’m actually really happy with the progress the car made in the past 6 months it will turn out to look and be the exact car I wanted.
I would have much rather spent $$$$ on performance parts instead of paint and fixing everything.
Maybe you should post how you built a 414 race gas motor in a build thread instead of trying to shit up mine?

As your car sits right now, you’d struggle to get it into the 11’s. Slap a th350 in it with a good converter and it might rock an 11.6-11.80, nothing more. You bash the shit out of everyone all spring/early summer and talk out of your ass, and you can never deliver. You’d think that you’d learn by now, lol. You rip on Brian every chance you get and he’s been low 11’s. You’ve never even run an 11. He’s out having fun with his car racing at the track and you are online typing out your excuses.

You and your edits, lol. I’m not hyper at all. You are the one pounding your fists that your car is slow, and you can’t do anything about that. My 414 is 100% pump gas, i’ve never bought a gallon of race gas in my life. 11.7-1 with a big cam is fine on pump.
Choko and I have been friends for going on 10 years now he painted the car because he is my friend not to make any money. I also worked with him as much as I could on that process since I don’t do paint/body work it was a learning experience.
I honestly don’t care what you say.
When the car is ready I will be racing it however that won’t be this year.

I got the car under the assumption the hood wasn’t painted and just the front fender/bumper needed to be resparyed not that every panel on the entire car was fucked.
Maybe you shouldn’t have been talking out of your ass about callout threads in mid-summer until you actually saw the car. You know what happens when you assume, :lol: .

I already told you somewhere else you were correct about expecting more issues.
Most importantly I won’t be street racing sucks being old.
T56 needs a rebuild which won’t happen since the car is going auto.
Rear tire has a big chunk missing from the sidewall and they’re shitty Z rated tires…I’m going to order Weld RTS rims but won’t be ordering tires till spring when I figure out what im doing gear wise over winter.
Rear end just got sold I would rather not grenade it or the T56 which is most likely sold.

all I have to add to this is the same thing I said in the build thread.
Paint is LAST. trust mer nobody gives a shit if its shiney, and from 40mph going down the road as long as its mostly one color it will look the same.
That being said, I like LZs build. I guess its just me I never realy gave a shit about polish. I’ve owned one vehicle with a nice custom paint job, and I think I washed it twice, never waxed it, being slow and shiney sucks worse than being fast and ugly.
