Joined the Subaru crew over the weekend.

1994 Legacy, 122K. AWD, 5-speed, EJ22 boxer four, four-wheel discs. Interior is immaculate, all electrics work, but needs some body work. Came with a metric ton of receipts and a service history at Subaru dealerships from 1,600 miles to now.

Even came with a set of 14" rims, and snows with less than one year on them. Paid $2K for her and she was delivered. I’d like to give Mike at Innovative a shout as he pointed me in the right direction so far as what to look for.

Scooped hood, good old reliable 2.2 N/A underneath. Slower than molasses, probably.

Awesome buy. You’ll love it. And I hear ya on the slower than molasses. I’ve got the 2.2L in my outback, and she is fun on steep hills.

Yours is just breaking in. Mine has 405,000 km on it and it runs mint. You’re about half way there LOL.

edit: the hood faked me out LOL.

My 2.2L NA is only in it’s teens then. 120k on her. Brakes seized like crazy though, and there’s some nasty exhaust leak coming from the driver side manifold. She’s going into the shop likely next week.
