Jons 2004 Subaru WRX Chargespeed Super GT Widebody

My STAGE II WRX PULLED A BUS ON THIS CAR (old owner) 20~100
Good luck dude…Previous owner didn’t know what he was doing (mechanically)

Yea Thatd definatly Dons old car. Wonder where the White Work Rims went…

so youre gonna rock this hellaballin body kit with knockoff wheels? sounds like a great start

Sounds like wheel gap central to me :rofl

Wow, that sucks :frowning: good luck man, this is gonna suck for you, it will never sell

Ughhh cool whip broh

nice guys… another member that wont reach 100 posts befor they call it quits with Shift. lol

just build the car man. Everyone here has cookie cutter shit boxes anyways. lol

Not my style but good luck with the build. At least you saved the car from the tool that had it before

:ohsnap

what that was a rather blunt statement. :rofl

i didnt have much backbone in it anyway, just busting some bawls

how is a wrx NOT a cookie cutter shitbox?

casue this one is already a movie star, and all the others are just hopes and dreeeeams on cut screeeeengs.

LMAO

right…

More like a backup dancer than a movie star.

10 bucks says thats the first line the PO and new owner will say when someone asks

YA MAN IT WAS IN THE F&F…
:rofl:rofl

oh god. i was hoping i would never see this car again.

and sorry but you are just setting yourself up to have a car that could of been something cool but will be shit, a big bag of shit…chargespeed widebody and rota wheels, worrying about the ride height, all fail. if you can’t deal with driving a car that is gonna need body work every year from normal driving you just bought a horrible car for you to own.

I would have to say, that’d be embarassing for the apparent work that was into it hahaha. The ECU going into right now is tuned by Justin, it runs like a top and pulls hard for a stage II. I’m going to do my best to bring it back to life and rebuild some respect for the car. It really isn’t as over the top as everyone is making it out to be, it just seems like it previously went the wrong direction.

Yes, I’m going to run Rotas. They’re affordable wheels that work. The majority of Subaru’s around here ride on them, as did my previous one. I don’t have two grand to spend on wheels alone, I apologize if they don’t meet your standards. I’ll run wheels wide enough to not look retarded and try to utilize the kit as intended.

Yea we’re going to see how it sits, if it looks ridiculous then I’ll have to look into fixing it with a nice strut/spring combo, trying to stay away from coilovers.

Will do, I hope I can make some improvements.

Thanks, I’ll give it a shot hahaha.

Well it seems like you have an upbeat attitude about the car, despite what the rest of the members have said.

The car has a lot of potential that the previous owner did not utilize, and half assed the car.

Good luck with it.

Keep us updated.

Why are you trying to stay away from coilovers?

Well I thought the same thing when I first saw it. It obviously went a way that I wouldn’t have gone in various directions, but I see it as a car that has a lot of potential. I’d like to try my best to bring out that potential. (Que the Rota hatred hahaha).

I think I would be much more satisfied with a nice strut spring combo because I don’t want to settle for low budget coilovers, and anything under 2k doesn’t seem to yield too many positive results.
