meh, not that fast. i outran a 1300 busa with a 12" extended swingarm and nitrous 3 times in a row at the track last week. Lol.
good stuff looks like the car moves out pretty well, but when are we gonna see some track times for this???
The car was on 13 psi because I was running 93 pump. First time i took the car out after getting it back from JnJ/Elma Auto a couple hours before. On 13lbs i would say it is 720ish on Jayās dyno. I canāt run this on 17psi safely with how it is tuned on straight 93.
Pat and I both drove it on 17psi and I really have no desire to run it on that boost at least for a while. This thing is a whole different car now that it is tuned even on low boost.
Runs were 2nd-3rd gear for me which was about 45- ~140.

Hows it hook up now? you still rolling on the big drag radials? or the cool street rims?
I have the 325/50/15ās out back. Hooks 2nd gear, although I am not brake boosting. It would probably hook that too though, these tires are nasty.

Pretty sure Mikeās R1 isnāt a box stock R1 so good runs.
Iām considering some TFS/TEA heads, larger cam and an aftermarket intake but with the way it performs on 17 I donāt think I need more power. But, new parts are always fun.

No clue. Iāve never taken it to a track or raced it. If the weather holds Iāll do a pass on my speedview app which is pretty decent.
The long short of it is we could both be faster. We both need to work on the driver mod, at these speeds minute things cause big differences.
:word: I was running a 100 octane tune for a while as well. Itās just not worth it. Nothing local, itās super expensive and, Iām not racing with the entire tank.
JTās car was JUST finished. It took a lot of goading to get him out. It was JUST finished and it was all last minute. His car is scary fast and itās a new setup. He needs some seat time to see what he can get out of it.
This. We were looking to get some more adjusting done with runs but our friends wife started bitching about all the noise on his road. Stupid trophy wives.
As far as speed. we didnāt get over 135 but damn close. I had a GPS speed map running the entire time and it never passed that. If I can get the mad scientist to decipher these files right we might even be able to figure out some close acceleration times.
All these posts and no one noticed my exhaust glowing red hot at the end of each run? I thought that was one of the cooler parts.
