So coilovers fell through. Ordered Some rfp1s and they ship tomorrow. For Now…
I had ordered a Takeda intake and it arrived last night and was anxious to install it so here it is.
Out with the old in with the new.
do you plan on painting that diffuser?
Probably not. It’s rare to find it in kevlar and is clear coated so I plan on leaving it raw like it is
How much was that intake if you dont mind me asking? where did you get it from.
No problem. Got it for $300 new in box off of a member on the crzforum. Shipped
Whatever you do, do not mess with the big orange wires, or pull the service plug without wearing high voltage gloves. Failure to do so can kill you. For more info:

Looks good so far
Ha thanks for the tip, ya I wasnt a fan of being near them today. Probably last time ill be under the hood for a while, well until I drop the struts. Wife just bought a prius and the salesman was under the hood and is like never touch that battery right there. I laughed
Rims came in yesterday. Bolted them up last night. Running into a snag right now with TPMS. Seller installed new sensors in the rims but they arent syncing up at the dealers so I have to get the sensors swapped out of the old rims back into the new ones. If only there was an easy cheap way. The tech at the dealer stated he was uncomfortable working with stretched tires. Heres a pic as it sits now. Badly needs coilovers.
damn that looks good man. i have a set of work knock offs ive been wanting to swap onto my car soon but the tpms will piss me off, but they dont even work in the car now so its like it wont make a difference if I leave them out of the new rims anyways.
I paid the seller a little extra to put the sensors on and now theyre saying the dont work, dont get it, theyre new sensors. So now I have to pay to get everything dismounted and swapped over. Wanted to use the money towards coils but guess Ill get the TPMS squared away first
Ive read online that crz tpms’s are commonly faulty especially in areas with shitty weather such as buffalo. Its annoying as hell getting in my car and having that stupid icon always pop on but ive learned to ignore it.
Hm hope thats what it is. Just sucks to pay a decent amount of money to have them swapped over and hoping they dont ruin them along the way
looking really good
Thanks, Its getting there. More than I expected to ever do.
& Mr. T
Just ordered a set of Tein Street Basis Coilovers. Not super drop. 2" Front 2.5" Rear, think itll be enough to tidy up the new rims but keep the car intact
needs many lows.
I think the teins will do decent. Guess well find out. Between being stationed in md and visiting home some I don’t wanna drop it a ton and be a snow plow. Especially once my lip arrives
you dont rock a sidewall that small unless you plan on scraping A-arms
We shall see. In all honestly too I didn’t know what to expect when I bought them off the Crz forum
this.
just did a quick google image seach and these things look great dumped…get to it
