i dont think the 100 lbs = .1 seconds in the quarter theory/formula holds true for all cars, like i said earlier…the lighter a car is, the bigger the difference seen will be…and the heavier a car is, the less you’ll notice the difference by reducing weight…
an extreme example of this would be…
you have a 5000 lb truck, you take off 200 lbs, you will probably not be able to feel any difference at all…
you have a 1800 lb lotus elise, you somehow find a way to take off 200 lbs more…you’ll feel a HUUUGGEEEE difference…
thus proving that 100 lbs does NOT always = .1 seconds off the quarter time…
