Who was the photographer?
Some of the later pictures at my wedding were the best, everyone stayed late and hard fun.
Hard fun is the best fun.
But yeah, between showing up with 50% of the agreed upon photographers and her leaving with 25% of the day left, I’d be angling to get the negatives (image files) and most if not all of your money back. It’s not like you can recreate the day. If the pics are decent maybe work out a new price, but with someone this flakey get your hands on those negatives before they or she disappears.
One of the reasons real photographers are so expensive is because they’re reliable.
Yes, you should ALWAYS get a hard copy at high res of all pictures! As soon as I got the DVD-r I made multiple copies and hid them in different places lol.
This sucks a lot man… Like I said before, I hope you got a real good price…
:highfive:
Beer?
My friend’s photographer completely missed several important parts of the wedding. Luckily her friend’s father or somebody had a good camera and was taking pictures all night, and some of the best pictures were captured by the guy who took them for free! And yes, the shenanigans later in the night when everyone is plastered usually make for the best photos.
If I ever hire a photographer again, I’ll keep hard copies in mind…
Back in 2004, I had more important things on my mind. Like buying a house, and planning a wedding with a prego.
When I shot a wedding I had back up batteries. Shame on her for not having a 2nd or 3rd
Sry to hear what happened
