I had immense success on the boards looking for a DJ, so I figured that I would look for a photographer here as well. We have burned through the budget on food liquor flowers etc… (and a fucking dress that cost WAY more than the initial budget!) I do not want to spend 2k on pictures.
Anyone on here do weddings (or want to start), or does anyone know someone that is good with this shit? I has a photographer, but when I tried calling her to arrange full payment she stopped responding :picard: I hate it when people forgo deposits and pay in full… :bloated:
when is the wedding i have a buddy who has done a few. he is just getting into it. he has had a few photos is local mags and at a gallery or 2. i can give him a text and either pass along your number or give you his. weddings are new to him photography he has been doing for about 5 years
I have a friend who’s not too bad at it and definitely enjoys it more so as a hobby. So if you’re looking for a cheaper guy that’s a bit more amateur, PM me. He’s done at least one wedding before that he could show his stuff to you if you’re interested.
The girl who did the photography at my friends wedding charged $500. She’s a professional photographer, but right now she’s doing it for extra money, that’s why she’s so cheap.
$2k on pictures is pretty cheap. Remember that you are going to get what you pay for. Any Joe photographer off the street can snap a few good shots out of a hundred, but if you want a decent album when all said and done, you need a photographer who is able to get a good shot the first try.
