Just so you guys know...a_ahmed is back.

Hurricane (Dustin) has 300zx brakes with a stock master cylinder and he likes his brake bias. This is with Hawk HPS pads in the front and Hawk HP+ pads for the stock rear 240sx calipers.

If you need advice just send me a pm.

And guys, AhmadG is NOT a_ahmed in case you’re wondering. I finally met him in person at Bing’s meet, he’s actually cool.

Z brakes all around, stock master, pedal feels good to me :.

I had that too, felt pretty mushy, but still stopped good. I would’ve preferred to rock the Z32 one, but I could never find one.

My pedal is hard as a rock, non abs manual booster/master cylinder, which is supposedly the smallest stock combo you can get for assist. I’ve had a z32 master cylinder kicking around since the Z brakes, but I have had no reason to put it in, and plus I’m lazy :P. Maybe I will do it when I have nothing better to do to the car.

I have z brakes all around with the z 17/16 bmc abs and s13 manual booster, my brake pedal moves like 2 inchs max and I get enough brake pressure to stop in traffic by resting my foot on the pedal. I love my pedal feel, after the half inch of play has past it feels nice and solid which gives me confidence in my brakes.
