Eehhhhh…
probably only 20 grand a piece!
What is wrong with people. lol SO DUMB!!!
“We need to remove statues because of the persons past”
Same person puts up statues of George Floyd while forgetting the guy used a gun and forced his way into someone’s house to rob them. Also many other criminal situations. But hey, let’s not worry about his past.
Speaking of dumb…
The Internal Revenue Service’s Publication 17, available on the agency’s website, contains a section on stolen property that may leave readers scratching their heads.
It was the IRS that took down Capone. Maybe this is how they plan to finally deal with all the smash and grab robberies and looting.
@jays yeah the more I think about it the more I like it. Local prosecutor doesn’t press charges for looting? Well looks like you cheated on your taxes…
I can’t picture the Biden admin ever using it, but next time a Republican is in charge look out. And the IRS can go back 10 years.
I can’t wait to see what happens when Venmo gets rolled into our new digital ID verification systems
Sooooooo… How many other times has law enforcement used this “innocent” trick on BLM?
The precinct captain who ordered the ruse, Bryan Grenon, told OPA that he was looking for “an innocent way to just throw out some distraction” at a time when the police department was short-handed and under pressure.
According to the report, an unnamed journalist who was with protesters that night told OPA “that, in his perspective, things were going fine in CHAZ/CHOP until people in the crowd heard reports that the Proud Boys were coming. The journalist stated that, when this occurred, it seemed like everyone in the crowd who owned guns went to get theirs and the event went from being peaceful to something entirely different.”
Once you remove all the breathless nonsense the media pumped into this I couldn’t see the courts going any other way. When you rush up to police that are obviously in the process of clearing protestors of course you’re going to get pushed.
The outcome it should have had.
Here we goooooooooooo!
I was in Canada this past weekend and someone was taking about George Floyd and his impact on DEI in their workplace. I mentioned fentanyl, and this person had no idea George Floyd was on drugs at the time of his arrest. Apparently this wasn’t reported in the news in Canada. They were under the impression this whole time that he was totally healthy.
most people don’t care to understand any particular issue.
