and those that say it sucks…
enjoy. (although imo the video doesnt really touch on half the construction/reconstruction going on here, or alot of what we have, it is still a good watch)

The video is great, it just bugs me that Tim Tielman was in it so much. That guy has held Buffalo back with his obstructionism far more than he’s helped it.
This was playing at Food Truck Tuesday on a big screen this week.
This is a video for people who have never traveled around the US.
Ugh, this.
Buffalo, home to the least traveled people in the world.
No, your vacation to Toronto, Punta Cana, or Vegas didn’t count.
Listen here with your “facts” and “visuals”, we defend Buffalo with T-shirts and slap on stickers. Get out of here with your video footage and historical memoirs.
I’m going to make “Defend Amherst … from Buffalo” Stickers and T-shirts.
Amen brother. You can hear him coming by all the bricks he’s chained himself to.
Is there a reason you’re constantly undermining Buffalo?
News: “Williamsville student expelled for wearing Defend Buffalo t-shirt in school. Staff claims gang association.”
Because I have the wonderful opportunity to visit cities all over this great country.
People around here get excited about some of the lamest short term projects ever.
Lmao, so true.
As much as it stings, its so true.
I love this city, and up until a year or so ago, I was convinced it would never turn the corner. I think it should be clear to many by now that were on our way there, but compared to other cities, Buffalo is still an American 3rd world city in many respects. I have no problem with that though because really, I do believe we will bounce back and when we do, the ones who believe in this city (residents, investors, property owners, etc) will be in on the ground floor. Im sure there are many more members on here who are in a much better position to say this as well.
Hey let go visit these cities… they’re so much better
Do you think you’re the only one?
Furthermore, it begs the question, if this place is so bad/over-rated/artificially inflated, what keeps bringing you back?
I’m pretty sure I see more cities on yearly basis then almost anyone on this forum.
I also live in the suburbs with some of the best school districts in the country…Not the city of Buffalo where the spend more money per student then anywhere in the country and have some of the worst schools in the country.
Not sure why you get personally offended over my views on the city.
I love Buffalo. Thank you for sharing the video.
I have lived in bigger cities and do miss the buzz/culture but at the end of the day I live a better life already at 28 then I ever figured possible and I give some credit to Buffalo for that.
judging by this post you have completely missed the point of the video. bravo.
Edit: To LZ -
I get offended because there are a lot of people, myself included, trying to bring this city back to what it once was - there are lot of people that believe in it, investing back in it, believe in the direction we are moving in, the resources we have, etc., and we don’t need people like you constantly trashing it. There are enough hurdles to go over - the last thing we want to see is people that bash it from a couple miles outside our city boundaries in their safe-haven suburbs.
Think about it - we’re not trashing the suburbs of WNY. We’re promoting the city. Either do the same, or don’t say anything.
By attacking a city in which one willingly lives, youre essentially attacking their lifestyle. Theres a right and wrong way to attack someones lifestyle and you sir are very blunt to say the least (although oftentimes right lol). Its why I think people are justified when they get offended by what Brady says and everyone else who comes through here with nothing nice to say (as right or wrong as they are).
Maybe you guys should work on promoting projects that sustain a city?
Creating areas where people can work/live/shop instead of projects that promote concerts on the water front or areas that can only be used for 6 months out of the year.
On a daily basis companies continue to move jobs out of the city and into the suburbs.
People get excited because now they have food trucks in the city or some concerts on the water front instead of pushing to have major issues fixed/improved.
