K20Powerz sucks at life.

Cool, but that’s so incorrect.

Your T/A isn’t really that special, really. Hack it up and keep the stock parts for backup.

OK well a local guy that’s into the third gens, has had a TTA, a GTA, now has a TTA swapped '92 Camaro (guys who know this car, know exactly who i’m talking about) told me if I cut up my GTA, i’d be retarded and to keep it how it is and if I don’t drive it, store it, because it’ll be worth money(esp. w/ the low miles) because people are junking these more and more by the day.

hmmm wonder why?! hahaha :nana

What I meant by that is crashing them, ruining them by cutting them up, etc.

lol!! just bustin you’re balls

So because I have a “special edition” dime-a-dozen neon, and 18 year old ricers wreck 200 of them per day, my neon will be worth money too?

^yup :lol

YES!!!

Bidding starts at $500,000.00

;D

You can’t even compare it to that. 2004 Dodge Neon, 4 door sedan and a 1987 Trans Am GTA both with similar miles almost 20 years apart. Also, aside from it being a new car, way more of them were probably made than there were '87 GTA’s. Also some dude from the area had a '87 GTA with like 11k on it and sold it for $23,500 on Ebay.

I disagree… chop it // rod it.

costs more than it did new… the price of the older aircooled VW’s has jumped significantly over the past 5-10 years. but thats a clean example that needs minimal work. plus its been converted from 6v to 12v… but 34hp isnt getting you anywhere anytime soon!

If the GTA dosen’t gain value you still have the civic to fall back on. I mean if you can make it better than a ZR1 for only a couple thousand dollars then in a couple years it has to gain some value, at least.

Personally, if I were in your postition i’d go with the SRT4. Im sure you could get at least $5k between both of your cars…

:rofl

or better yet, buy a vette with a spent clutch

the ONLY domestic cars that came out of the 80’s pretty much that are worth money are well kept Grand nationals, GNX’s and the TTA’s…a GTA isnt worth anymore then my V6 camaro was worth. I see 10 of them a week on the street.

If it were a anniversary camaro or trans am, then it would be a collectors item.

No, you don’t.

Your V6 junk was worth dog shit, my GTA could be sold right now for 7-9k maybe 10 to someone into them.

what are you talking about.

the 80’s nova’s were where it was at…

Maybe to a buyer that doesn’t shop around… I got my 91 GTA, which was WAY more rare than yours, for $4k in 2001/2? IT had a 383 stroker, accel intake, currie 12-bolt, and a built 700r4. The list goes on, but you get the point… Is your car clean? Yes. Will it be worth money in the future? Yes. Will it make a difference if it’s matching numbers and all original? Probably not, everyone will be looking for the 91 because it was wayyyyyy more rare.

Either way, I’m not modding it anymore. It’s good for what it is.

Plus, I have a '69 Camaro RS/SS in my garage, matching numbers, 31,xxx miles, getting restored. Mine? No. Someday? Yes. Shove that in your ass Pants Party.
