Well actually seeing as your post was full of junk that you actually took time to look up(clearly searched “GTA” because all the words “87” and “GTA” are highlighted in red. That wasn’t a yellow GTA (shows even more that you don’t know what youre talking about with these, '87-'91 GTAs never came in yellow from the factory, '92’s were the only ones to have the option of yellow), it was a yellow Formula which is stated in that thread…
Its a Formula 350…it is TPI.
For what its worth I was looking at buying a 90 Formula from a guy in FL with 28K miles on it…9.5 all the way around. It was a 305 TB car (L03) but had a 5speed…he wanted $5500 for the car. I offered $3.5K for it…which was about right for a non-TPI car. (BTW I have bought 8 (and sold 6) 3rd gens in the last 12 months.)
Formulas are WAY under appreciated (I have a 87 myself)…if it was a IROC or GTA it would be worth $10K but as it is you would have to find the right buyer to get $7500 for it.
Can you re-read the area in red. Tell me where it says “never made a yellow 3rd gen.” You obviously just quick searched and didn’t read anything else. because again it’s a FORMULA and a few posts down it says “IF IT WERE AN IROC OR GTA IT’D BE WORTH MORE”
