:confused
My car will be worth money in 10-20 years too, 2 yr production run with the 5.0, white with red interior, not a whole lot made. But ya know what, idc, its fun to mod and itll still be worth money to someone IF i ever decide to sell it…which i prob wont.
This is why I like the bike crowd a lot more than the car crowd. Everyone respects everyone regardless of what they fucking ride (harley owners excluded). They’re in it for the hobby, not to pick on others and talk shit because of their chosen “platform.” It’s always some fag with something that is fast, and they act like they own gods gift to all cars. It’s absolutely ridiculous.
FUCK YOU ALL…FORD FTW :crackup
Whats with you guys, I move this to battlefield and it gets civil.
Unless its R6 squid. No one likes them :banana
Oh, not to put fuel on the fire joey, but isnt your car pretty well modded as is, built motor, cam, n20 ect… i dont see how building a motor, doing some suspension work and bolting on some stickies would decrease the value anymore…
There’s a difference between doing mild motor work and hacking apart the “frame” of the car.
you dont need to hack a frame to make a car fast… :confused
I was referring to the car in the OP.
Actually, the car crowd isn’t bad aside from the douches centered on their platform that they own.
For example, the older muscle crowd, I ran a few of them in the Civic and one guy was behind me on his way home one night as I was running someone. The next week the two guys came up to me and I got the compliment of “That thing is awesome man! Moves out pretty well.” There’s a few other ones in that crowd that like it as well, they own 12, 11, 10 second muscle cars and still think my civic is cool.
Nitrous can be unbolted in about 5-10 minutes and taken out if need be. It’s stock appearing, other than the lope you hear from the cam the motor appears to be stock with headers. I mean I’m debating putting a different intake manifold on it to take away the heavy restrictiveness of the stock manifold and might throw some nice suspension in it later next year. No need to get slicks for it or anything. Plus Adam, like I was told by Jaz, my car is the WRONG car to try and make a good drag car out of just because of the platform.
The muscle car guys are cool, but I rarely see them around (especially at the lot). They are there but nothing like it used to be.
Yea tpi motors really are not efficient. Go with an ls1 platform for that
I dont know when youre going to the lot but theres usually quite a few muscle car guys.
Jaz was talking about the car in general, not the motor. I would go with a BBC w/ an F2 or something if I was going to build a drag car, not an ls1.
Read my last sentence. They are there yup, but I don’t see nearly as many of them as there was 2-3 years ago.
Coming from the guy that made every platform hes telling you not to drag, a drag car :confused :lol
It was a shitty season for alot of guys. Several had broken cars.
He was talking with the other guy with a maroon GTA last night and telling him how they make good drag cars because theyre so aerodynamic.
No no, his Camaro is not a drag car dude, he was driving it with gold GTA stockers on it in the beginning of the season.
Idk maybe you mis-interpreted him or something because I was at his house talking to him a few weekends ago for a couple hours about my car and him telling me not to cut it up or put a big motor in it. The other GTA that goes to the lot is a stock 305, T-Top GTA. They didn’t put the 350’s in the T-Top models because of the torque the 350’s made. Also, maybe Jaz got the same impression me and my dad got when we talked to that kid with the 305 GTA of “what an idiot”. My dad came out once this year in my Trans Am and all he wanted to know about that kid’s GTA was something about the paint or something and the kid rambled on about how fast he’s gotten it up to and whatever other nonsense he said in the 30-40 minutes of our lives he wasted by sharing his useless info.
he uses it as one and does quite well. remember…you dont need a BB with huge tire to go fast, the technology they have now makes it more efficient to build s SB
A “drag car” is something like PV’s Nova or Nick’s F2(?) 555 BBC Camaro or even Wes’ Malibu
I still look at his Camaro as a street car with some DOT slicks and skinnies on it
