Ill look for you tomorrow. I dont remember the exact colour name.
when i was putting it together yesterday, i needed the main oil feed gasket or o-ring from the block to the chain cover, and in my gasket kit, that was the ONLY o-ring they forgot. i was pissed right off. but i picked it up off nissan today, for 3.64…this stupid little rudder ring. whatever, im going to florida till monday for the drag races so ill be back then and it will be together, and the turbo manifold will be surfaced and smooth.
update, so, the oil feed o-ring i got from nissan, wrong one…so i have to go back and actually show them the piece. Very annoying but i guess it has to be done.
so i wanted to see the turbo on the motor, so i did that today, not much but i was excited. The manifold was surfaced and smooth.
Looks good man - just have a few questions…
What turbo is it? You said T3/T4 .63 w/ Evolution but is it T04B, E, 60 series? CBB? I’m guessing a 60 series based on the 22# goal, although 22# is the top end of the turbos capacity.
Is that a SSAC manifold? If so did you add gussets/branching so that you can rock 22#? Or do a dye penetrant? I’ve been looking over manifolds and debating fixing a SSAC or waiting until Weirtech can make me one. I want an AMS bottom mount but thats not gonna happen - disco :(.
How big is the Evolution WG?
yes this turbo is the t3/t4, we are running its full capacity, only on the track, for street is only gunna be 18psi.
that manifold is an ebay mani, they are actually qiute strong, but always make sure they are surfaced before because they are not level or flat whats so ever.
and ill find out how big that WG is, i forgot, but its the recommended waste gate for these turbos, ill let u no tonight! thanks!
the paint looks kinda like the duplicolour metalic purple from crappy tire thats what i painted my roll cage with and <3 it !
Sorry I miss read Ur question, this turbo is part of the TO4B seris
Well guys the motor is done. I’ll post picks tomorrow morning. I only need 3 new things, nistune, clutch and injectors then the motor goes in te car. After that extensive dyno testing where I’ll be paying out the ass but it has to be done.
looks great! nice build.
hey guys, i have come to a little issue with money, and this project is on hold…but would anyoe be interested in finishing this project…?? meaning buying what is already done…its expensive, but maybe there is someone who wants this. Please text or call 5192094751 for more information and inquiries. Im not in any rush, but money is a factor for me, so if anyone wants this, please let me no, and i will show u it in person, and give you a complete parts list on what is left.
Thanks, Paul
