Ive decided after i toasted my clutch, that i need to be boosted. I vow that this car will not be back on the road until it is boosted.:snky: (i needed a winter project anyways). so heres a few pics from last night as i took 4hrs to clean out the area needed for the build, and 1.5hrs to do what ive done so far. I will keep this updated, and there might be some slow spots as i am currently working on a 57’ chevy bel air hardtop 2dr as well. let me know what you think. Herrrre goes nothing.:ohnoes:

-Short shifter gen II - INSTALLED
-t25 / or ct26 -aquired
-complete intercooler and kit-aquired
-boost, oil, voltage, and water temp gauges- installed
-battery relocation kit- aquired

Also refreshed the engine with all gaskets, and new waterpump timing guides, got rid of the a/c did the emissions delete, and for now am running header, and full 3" apexi n1 exhaust with a testpipe, until i finish the turbo mani. also installed spec stage 3 clutch resurfaced flywheel, and all new royal purple fluids in the tranny, and rear end.
And then Moon Performance out of Lake placid is the closest place to get dyno tuned, but im willing to travel in the spring like to buffalo, where my sister lives if someone else on here knows a better place (proven) to tune
ill say yes, but i dont want to count my eggs before they are hatched,(meaning turbo and some parts can change) but i am aiming for 250-275 whp to start with. Ill probly grenade my motor, but yea ill run you.
i got a ka24de and 5 spd tranny im lookin to get rid of if your interested. and unless they just started making them megan doesnt have a divorced elbow.
next yr? your car wont be done untill 2010.
i swapped a car, drove it for 2 yrs, sold it, bought a bike, fixed everything on that, sold it and moved, and you have yet to complete a cookie cutter swap

sohc ftw! check out ka-t.org for thier sohc builds, plus my motor has 87k mi on it and has absolutley no leaks what soever, so its a no brainer till it blows. as for the mani, the mani i got is for 60 bucks so getting the runners welded up to some new sohc flanges will be a snap and much cheaper and im able to run my t28 direct bolt up and an sr downpipe that im getting off the same guy, where most of the turbo manis from jgs, jordan gladman, pdm or others are t3. welding stainless is cake since it pretty much welds its self. When the motor pops im going to build the internals with dohc forged parts with stock dohc compression so it is lower because i want to build 375whp
Heres an update of tonights work, these cars are cake to work on. My buddy nate helped me pull the powerpant out, and looked at the damage and work ahead, the car isnt as clean as i wanted it to be for an 89 with 87k mi on it, but ill let the pics do the talking:pimp:
thats it for now till i tear down the motor accessories and do rear and front main seals (rear and timing kit) and get ready for boost, and clean and paint the engine bay, so ill get more pics as i go, -
booooyaaaa thats what im talkin about! defying the odds! that is rediculous but sweet at the same time, probly got that motor for free because nobody wants them and look at it. Gorgeous! Whos car is that? yours?
