ok, call me stupid, but i’m not gettin what “chicken strips” is supposed to mean
:offtopic:
ur right, i’m sorry… you’re the God’s chosen one for riding motorcycles
well youre a smart person do a search, but chicken strips are indication of lean ablities. the larger you have the less you lean. the less you lean the less ablity you have of going thru a bend/turn
chicken strips are the universal measurement for showing a riders ablity.
why so personal? are you upset i call you out on things like you beating a true litre bike with your Vtwin? ive rode those bikes and they dont really do much. good bikes just not comparable to a true litre bike. if it was they would be racing them more then inlines
all i asked was for pics of chicken strips, thats all. you stated you have more riding experience then some 30yr olds
hahahaha… let me get this right… ur saying that you want pics of someone riding, specifically leaning the bike into a sharp corner, as proof that they have experience?
are you joking?
call me out on w/e you want… i could care less… it’s what happens… ur right, i dont have proof … and i’ve never said it was as fast as the litre-bikes of today, but with bikes of its own model year(s), it was very competitive … heavy, but still did the job …
pics of chicken strips
also you can tell alot about someones ability of riding by how they are postiond on the bike and how they forsee the turn while going thru the turn
anybody can ride upright, its when you occur turns thats when skill show and not shown
i guess what gets to me is that you think b/c you’ve rode 1 or 2 of a single bike, that you konw how every single one of them perform…
b/c there aren’t sv650’s passing smoe’s on an RR on the track… yea, the RR should spank it, but obviously someone knows how to ride…
are you studdering? i got that
well i guess that’s where we just don’t agree… i think that yes, that shows that you have more skill than the next guy back, but i think that has a lot less to do with experience… which is what this whole topic was about
but back to what i was saying… you want pics? you think we all go around having ppl take pictures of us while we’re riding?
does anyone else do this? or am i the odd man out here?
im not talking about my bike at all.
and yes a sv650 is a great handler once you change the suspension. with a good rider they could rock a litre bikes rider or even a supersports rider. hell a 250r rider could rock anyone of those
have you actually rode any other bike then yours that you so called beat. Jimmy60dash1 F4I would beat that Tiller. just ask redlinegsr94 to get the bike and run ya. not saying your bike isnt a good bike at all cause i actually like how they respond but you clain its all that. just putting a grasp on reailty and if you say about my bike. if i wanted a bike that was king i would upgrade but im not. bike does everything i need it to.
chicken strips are shown on the tire. you can have a pic taken whenever. liek this one its a pic of me having the bike during its breakin period[along with me with broken rib] these are BT014s in that pic not the best tire but a solid stock tire. look at the rear tire then look at the front. rear is usually smaller then front. my current set have none on rear and mimimal on front. these are also michelin Pilot Powers. alot softer compound tire
i have never claimed mine to be ‘all that’… i know that its heavy and doesn’t have the powerband or hp the others do… no, i haven’t ridden these ppl’s bikes… i dont really care to… i really love mine… i just find it funny that you think its the slowest thing on earth…and you have no idea
ahhh, i get it now… i didnt understand what you were saying
never said it was the slowest thing on earth. hell most ppl think a 250ex or 250r are the slowest thing on earth and shouldnt be on the road cause of their size but what ppl dont know is that they run 14s and that is faster then alot of cars on the road and faster then alot of cruiser bikes with more HP
but honestly i dont think this kid should even think of getting a new bike. he should get a used a bike and learn from there. it will be dropped. but its his money
i think we can agree there…
i think a new age 600 is just too much as a beginner bike, especially for a 16 year old… i think the late 90’s 600s would be ok tho… i learned on a CB900
wooohahahahaha
yea an older F2/f3 or even F4, zx6e or zx6r, or heavy sixxer srad would be enough for him for awhile
well this thread took a shit.
Pewter bish hit the nail on the head with the insurance thing. And after make a few phone calls yesterday, I doubt this kid will even be able to covered on a new bike even if he wanted to…
I have a hard time believeing that anyone could afford at 16 the amount of insurance money they want for the bike he is looking at unless you are like a spolied bitch like the Hiltons or a Gates kid.
Again if he can, I want to know what he is doing so I can quit my job and take that up…
