im not sure lol…but my dad had a factory 91 hf that had just about everything from the factory si…lol but the motor…and this one has a four door style wheel (4 spoke) factory so i dunno haha…but im going to clean it up and have a little fun with it. throwing parts at it when i can!
I’m just asking because it is one of the last sought after models. HF’s are wanted in the early years (88, 89) and the Si’s are always wanted in later years (90,91) but an early years Si and a late year HF is a redheaded stepchild which nobody really wants :lol
There are a few advantages to the HF no matter what the year however and one of them is a quicker lock to lock steering. The lightened bumper support beams are also sought after.
well im not building a race car :ohnoes like some people claim…mine going to be a F*ckin fun driver!, it may not lock steering as fast as some… and for that matter my bumper supports my be a lil on the heavy side…but im sure the B16 Is still going to make yo ass smile when vtec kicks :banana
car is a HF. lol its got a swap and suspention, everything else is hf :ohnoes its going to be getting worked on over the winter and when it comes out its going to be a hf with a bunch of new parts…lol ;D lca, bars, header, seats, intake, lip, rear clip…if you have anything lmk i might be interested in a few, oh BTW did i metion i bought the car running and driving as is w/ tein 1 peices and full swap for under 2gs :giggedy ooooooooooohhhhhhhhyeaaaaaaaaa
91 is the heaviest year for the HF model (2000+ pounds VS 1800 pounds in 1988).
Some of the differences that made it lighter then DX, or Si.
Lack of
Heavy(er) Si seats.
Si interior trim.
Sunroof
Sound insulation.
Rear wiper.
Si motor.
Disk Brakes
Sway bars.
Smaller tank.
and some other items.
