PITTSBURGH (AP) Movie director Kevin Smith plans to shoot a new film in Pittsburgh starting in January.

Smith wrote on the Internet blog viewaskew.com that he may announce the cast of the film, ``Zack and Miri Make a Porno,’’ in the next two weeks, and that the filming will take about 40 days.

Smith’s career kicked off with 1994’s Clerks.'' He directed the movieDogma’’ in Pittsburgh in 1998.
