I’m sort of surprised that a shop would do $16k worth of work without payment, or at least running a credit check.

The way i saw it is that this kid tacked on additional work (unless i missed something) but even still, with the total approaching 16K, and a young kid, EVEN with the car registered to the mother, cover your ass. It had to be under contract right? And if the kid cant produce a recipt, ite gotta be on his head to prove liability right?
Dude, this kid has tried scamming literally HUNDRED’s of people. From 350Z owners, to paintball forum members. :bowrofl:
The best part is his girlfriend tried giving the shop owner $60 to release the car.

yea there’s links in that thread to all different forums on people that have gotten scammed
1200 for a laptop, few paintball guns
and all the parts he just showed up with, who knows where he got those(turbo and such)

Agreed. Sounds like the car was financed under her name and she’s at least 2 months behind on the payments…
