Kilmer's 2002 1.8t Jetta Project

Damn I wanna see that thing go!

True sleeper!!

What clutch are you going to get?

Up in the air between clutchnet stg4 and spec stg3+

I don’t think I want to use dual clutch/unsprung set ups…I do live in the city

nice

You running tomorrow Val?

which stage? 2?

Aren’t there alot of problems with Spec clutches?? …they wear too quickly?..I read everyone going over to South Bend brand.

mine is fine. just stiff as hell

Don’t know if I’ll make it for the Sport Compact Madness as I just got the clutch last night and waiting for the bolts from Brandon (should be tomorrow) probably not until next week…Wed, September 12 – Test N Tune

I hear people having problems with SPEC, but I have a friend in a very similar set up with well over 70 passes on this clutch with numerous 11.7 and lower runs (as low as 11.3X), it engages as smooth as stock he says and he just ripped into it to look how it’s holding up and said it was good for another 100 passes if not more…so, if it’s not going to last, I’ll switch to something else…

Oh yeah…STG3+ by spec, allegedly it holds 540ft/lbs and I am not @ 400ft/lbs yet

sweet good luck with it

What stage do you have? Sprung or unsprung center? Do you have a LW FW as well?

Stage 2 stock flywheel.

your FW must be doing this because STG2 is a sprung center…is it dual mass stock, I don’t know a thing about mustangs…beside that they are rwd and tq :stuck_out_tongue:

I had some issues with picking up my TQ reading as I said before, but the same day as the 406whp dyno I also dynoed 30psi of boost to see 2 solid consecutive runs of:

422whp and 423whp

here’s the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBdbHXot4eg

Thanks for the vids Mark
