Just surprised the fuel would be blamed by the owner.
He said a MKIV Supra tuned on E85 just blew because of the fuel… If it was properly tuned and the fuel system was enough to support it then its surprising that it would just blow??? Im not going to say he’s wrong but I wonder what happened. :idiots

well the 240, i still cant explain, it was tested and tuned 4 times, but the supra, i just called him he ‘changed’ his story, he said normal driving. hes the dumbass that forgot to add, he had upgraded turbos, running too much psi, and on E85, so thats all him. that car was sweet when his brother had it, and then went into army and brother took it. not friends with the guy who did it to the car, but im friends with the brother who had it, he’ll be pissed to learn what happened in 2 weeks when he comes home
That just sucks. MKIV Supra has been one of my dream cars since well before F&F.
Upgraded turbo won’t kill a block. Knocking at high power WILL.
With that said, I am still running a stock block and I have pushed past 33PSI or so. Making reliable and good power on a block that can handle it such as the 2JZ has been done for years.
You CAN kill anything but stupid people can accomplish anything.
ya, my friend derek, has a 97 supra TT, some kid (16) had 13K to buy it, right then and there, with no motor (we had taken it out to rebuild with better internals) and we asked what he was going to to with just a mk4 chassis, he said put a sr20det init, and upgrade the turbo and it would kill any supra… After that we asked “nice” to get the hell outta my garage, and never to return

not for his case, he totaled it it rolled twice while going 30 then in the snowstorm, then trying to pull the e brake then hitting a neon, which for some reason caused it to flip, i told the cop he should spend life in a mental hospital.
The MKIV is absolutely beautiful and amazing block. The interior kills it for me but I’d still rock one if it didn’t have it’s repuation.
