Knock off seats.....

Any of u guys know of any places that sell these type of seats in the GTA?? Check 'em out…

I think they look hot in leather.

I have seen those on e-bay and I actually like how they look,

yup these pics are from ebay…be great if someone sells them here locally. I don’t wanna deal with duty and shipping

The bottom pic actually looks like my seats except mine are in suade.

generally something you find at pacific mall.

i can get a few different styles here at my shop but probly not for that low a price

I think trusting your life to knock-off seats is generally a bad idea.

Racing seat
Year: Any Model: Nissan 180sx, Silvia, 240sx

Unbadaged BRIDE style seat. Bride Brix II style.

There is no shame in running a knock-off seat, so long as you dont wear the BRIDE logo and tell people that its real…poser!!!

this seat comes with generic rails but will take custom work to fit it in your S13/S14.

the seat is bottom-mount. if you have aftermarket top-mount rails you should be able to get this seat in your car easily.

we can provide generic rails but you will still need a seat bracket for the 240sx.

$230.00

I think it all depends on the build, If I got something like that I would be the one to fab the sliders on to make sure that they were fully safe

i think you really gotta sit in the seat before you make the choice.

a seat is a big big decision, if it is not comfortable you are throwing your $$$ away.

i could prolly get that seat with out the fantastic nismo logo on it… in fac ti am pretty sure it is the same as Phil’s seats

my seats and custom brackets held me in fine when i crashed… seat didn’t move at all.

it all depends on the seat and how it’s mounted in the car.

I’ve sat in that particular seat and found it very comfortable, but nah man I need the leather for the extra bling hahahahha.

Oh Phil…were did u pick up your seats from? As for the Nismo logo’s i’d rock them…need a little bit of rice in your life lol, just a little bit though.

get a seat that is FIA approved…

I have a pair of these seats and they are very comfortable and very supportive, much more so than those “nismo” ones you posted would be.

Leather’s lame.

Doesn’t that mean that it is non-reclinable and costs like $2000 each? A necessity for a true track car, but 99% of people are hardparkers anyway, and it’d be a total waste.

sparco sprint is $299.99 US on their site. can probably be found cheaper. and is FIA approved. no it will not recline but its comfy. i myself dont ever “recline” no need to sleep/rest in my car as its for driving and not sleeping.

why I say get an FIA approved seat is because i highly doubt solo1/solo2 will allow the use of a non-approved aftermarket seat, or will nhra once you pass the 12 sec mark I believe… and it gets worse depending on what type of racing you want to do.

so if that case every comes up… and you bought knock offs and they cannot be used, you now spend more money to buy proper ones.

so might as well buy proper ones to begin with… nothing wrong with the knock offs. bing seats are the shit! i was going to buy them myself but went with the sparco’s instead.

I can see a seat needing to be FIA approved for Solo1, but I really doubt it is necessary for Solo2.

I stand corrected then, at 299 USD it’s definitely worth to get a FIA approved seat.

sprints can be had for less than $300 usd.

if you take into account shipping and junk.

just ask
