Does anyone have any background using the greddy emanage on a turbo car? If not then does anyone know of any shops that have knowledge or background using the greddy emanage?
I have the emanage, injector harness, ignition harness, and support tool all coming in the mail in a day or so.
why did u order that thing for ur car anyways?u are aware that the stock ecu has full capablities to make a shit load of hp with no modding done to it.i dunno if there are any differences between a dsm ecu and a evo ecu but i doubt there is much…
reflash isn’t the best option. also I don’t have the capabilities to reflash the ecu everytime I throw a new mod on my car. I was waiting for stand alone but nothing has come or will be out for a few months, so I got a deal on this emanage from a friend.
Do you have an experience with the emanage, or know of a shop that does?

ummm u sure u have to reflash the evo ecu after every mod?i know the rx7’s are like that because they run so lean from the factory but i dont think mitsu computers are tuned like that.
i’m from down at hybridynamics in youngwood pa.u might have heard of us i dunno,i dont think we ever really got into the emanage a whole lot. i’m not sure who really is since i havent really heard of anybody running those in a 4G63 powered car or any car for that matter.
i’ve seen/used a emange on other cars but not from scratch. they are a tad complicated at first b/c sometimes u need to buy a addon accessory for it to work right with the car.
overall i liked the box for the options to price ratio
the evos run insanely lean from the factory, which is why I would need a reflash often. really im open to any sort of fuel management recommendations anyone has. would the safc2 be a better choie?
franchise i think i met you out at the pittracing meet, you had the red supercharged 3g correct?
anyway what do you guys at hybridynamics primarily use for fuel tables besides standalone units? have you guys done any kind of tuning on an evo yet? do you guys have a wideband? if so which one?
If it means anything this is a road course car primarily, it will do the quarter mile everyonce in a while if i feel like it, but most track days will be at beaverun, or at autox’s.
on another note, i’d go for a reflash if it could be done within a reasonable distance of myself. I’m not too fond of the idea of ripping my ecu out and mailing it off for a week for a reflash. although if this is what it has to come too then i guess its what has to happen.

thanks for the input so far.
yea i have a good bit of experience tuning the afc’s.down at HD we are running hondata’s,a power fc and currently i am running the afc,but i am replacing that with either a VPC/GCC or a AEM EMS this winter.if u get a afc bring it down i will tune it for ya no prob,we also have a wideband.

Like George said, a few Hondatas, a power FC and AFC’s. Ill be ordering a Power FC when i get the sr20det in my 240. Im almost positive the wideband is an FJO racing electronics.
thanks for the info guys, what do you charge per hour to tune an safc2? I am just going to run this until the power fc comes out for the evo8. how far are you guys from the south hills of pittsburgh?
