Ok, so I did a little homework and THINK I know what I want to do with the setup now after some consultation with Eddies Aquarium. I decided as much as I didnt want to to take out the island b/c
Smoothing the liner around that would be a PITA and look like junk all wrinkled up, and
The liner Id need to do that was over $1000!
So today I hucked the island out, and got it close.
Heres a schematic I made of the pond as advised by Jess@Eddies, lmk what you think and if there is anything different you would do… I thought the pump/pickup should be moreso in the middle, but idk…
I guess it depends on the size of the turd itself, if youre workin with something over 2’’ OD we might have a clog and have to backwash that shit, which would fire it over into the dyke neighbors yard lol.
My balls. Eats them! There are alot of schematics that are super confusing and retardedly overdone it seems, Im just trying to do this the easiest way possible with still having it function correctly.
Should’ve talked to Bob@Eddie’s. Got me a 99.2% discount on a liner for my 100,000 gallon goldfish pond. Final cost was $71.53 out the door for everything including fish.
I think with the pump/pickup at the end and the waterfall at the other end is the way to go. That way you’ll have a steady current of water and no stagnant area (if you had the pump in the middle). Looks good man! You should setup an underwater camera and a TV on the wall in your house like a fish tank haha
The shim pump and savio will be dope. I have the same set up with my pond but just a bigger shim pump.Water will be crystal clear and you can have some big motherfuckers in there withought having an issue.Hope they helped you out adam !!!
This will help your waterfall flow better by a great deal. Don’t cheap out and make sure to get Motorcraft SW-3 solonoids. You’ll fry the lesser ones on all the voltage :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl
