Was wondering if someone could tell me how much time it pays to put a serpentine belt on a 98 Buick Lesaber with a 3800 in it ?

not a hard belt to get too iirc. i’d probably charge a half

It is a piece of cake. Just takes a 15mm wrench.

It kooks like you have to remove the motormount . Do you?

dont see why you would.

Looks like the one part of the motor mount goes threw the belt . Guess we will find out tonight .

Remove

  • The engine mounting bracket lower nut
  • The engine mounting bracket lower stud
  • The engine mounting bracket lower spacer
  • Remove belt

i know the grand am/3400 is like that. but even so, with a half inch gun it’s still cake. throw a couple blocks or wood under the oil pan and let it rest while you unbolt the mount. still shouldn’t take longer than a half hour to do

Yea a 60* V6 belt is cake
