Laborious Labor Day

Went for a ride with some others on this board up to Lake Ontario for a nice ride. The ride was great with the exception of an Orleans County Sherriff that decided to follow us for 15 miles on 104 through a bunch of 35 and 45mph zones. Bike felt great doing 90mph, or, 2nd gear for most of the other bikes that were there.

And what ride would be complete without this happening?

Clutch felt off. Looked down and saw the adjustor had backed out a bit. Tightened it a turn or two and it felt GLORIOUS-better than it’s ever felt. And then I saw the cable when we were leaving, ugly. Figured I might be able to nurse it home but such was not the case.

Could have been worse and broke somewhere along this mini road trip I took with it two weeks ago for work.

Thanks to my new best friend Aaron who went home and grabbed something to tow it home with. Sorry about ruining your afternoon ride… If your Yamaha ever has it’s period on a ride, I’ll return the favor.

All in all, it was a good labor day.

His name is Adam for the 5th time you old geezer lol.

Ride was fun! That PO deff but a damper on things but oh well. Fix it and let’s ride more before the season ends homie.

Solves all your project problems quick.

Not sure if the cable is the same from the 750 to 850 Commandos, time to check part numbers as I think I have a new 750 cable.

JayS-direct your gift to L47 and his Fiero project.
