they didnt release the stories on accident… they are betting they will make more than $70k by breaking the news early.

They baited us with it early last season (the whole Clarkson changing his name to Jennifer if the 918 was faster than the P1) then it never happened. I’m hoping it will be the season premier this season.

I’ve certainly never dropped anywhere near that kind of coin on a car but you’d think it would be delivered on something a little nicer than a flatbed.
that first video where they walk around the car a bit makes me realize how little performance matters at that echelon. no way you’re really going to be able to tell the difference in 0-60 times between a Laferrari, P1 and 918.
each of the cars have such presence and are so exclusive that if you were lucky enough to have any of the 3 you’d be well advised to just buy immediately.
so it’s like buying any watch over $14.99 ?
