im not backing Lane Kiffin… but what Davis said in that interview was just low, and im pretty sure everything was taken out of context, and obviously Davis interpretation of what was going on is different from what really happened.
Kiffin may not have a great record, but saying things like “he was trying to get fired so he can leave with pay”, “talking shit about the team, org, coaches, management”, etc etc etc. meh i don’t see it.
not to mention, oakland i think is right on the brink of breaking through. (not to be an elite team, but to be competitive and dangerous). they have put up a rather good fight in several of their losses this year. just need to learn to finish… (cough, buffalo last year)

Al Davis is off his fucking rocker. He needs to hand the reigns over to someone capable of running a football franchise. The statements he makes in public are extremely unprofessional and he makes a ton of false accusations.
I don’t think anyone is capable of being a head coach in that franchise. It’s a disaster. The entire personnel management all the way up to Al Davis needs to be fired and they need to get people in there with football knowledge.
