I want a cheap printer for basic black and white printing.

I prefer a laser printer as I do not want to keep spending a ton on ink.

I purchased a wireless brother laser for my black and white printing and I have been very impressed with it’s quality and speed. I am in the process of buying a xerox phaser for my color printing, but that guy is much more high end than you will probably want.

I’m curious too as I am looking for a cheaper laser printer for the same

I have an extra brother hl2140 I believe for $40 if your interested.

Lasers toner lasts longer but you have things like fusers and transfer rollers to maintain/replace depending on print volume. Also the cost of toner isn’t cheap, though it’s cheaper than ink.

I prefer laser myself, just wanted to point out some facts about them.
