found that 27inch wide… exactly what i want… but i don’t know anything about LCD tv’s

The best way to explain the contrast ratio is the higher the #, the more life-like the picture will be.
So a contrast ratio of 4000:1 is better than 1000:1 as an example.
Same with response time. The higher the # the better.
I’ve got no idea what a good brightness # is, but a good tv with a good contrast ratio should by design have good brightness.
Im clear on the whats better… i just don’t know the good ranges… to say Yea this is a good deal … or no… i wouldnt buy this tv
example, 2000:1 to 1000:1 is ok… 4000:1 to 2000: 1 is amazing
and
no… the lower the response time the better… (i’m sure you knew this, i am saying this to not confuse others that come in reading, simple typo on your part)
