Legalize it?

but what about drinking.. since drinking is bad, shouldn't pot be legal? ;)[/quote] Aww what's the matter, people ignoring your first post so you had to quote yourself?

Two of us have already addressed that alcohol should be more controlled…

And completely off topic, but people should be licensed and pre-screened to reproduce.

FYI trans fat are now illegal in NYC.

dick lol… I was waiting for a rebuttle lol… kisses

nothing against you, I just hate drugs…

Dude… I have only had the privilege of meeting you once… but I do believe that we have a lot in common…

Thanks again for posting exactly what I think…

And this is not ball riding/sucking or whatever nyspeeders may call it, I am just really glad that someone else thinks like I do…

BTW, i hate drugs myself. I just happen to like weed for some reason.
Its not an everyday thing for me though.

I think the fact that people are missing as well is that drinking alcohol is out of control too. Is it really healthy for people to be going out and drinking 20 beers in one night? Just cause its “legal” doesnt mean that you should be doing it. The fact alone that college students have to drink alcohol in excessive amounts in order to have fun is downright sad. Having a few drinks and getting buzzed/drunk is one thing. But having 20 beers and blacking out is BAD. Nobody should really do that to themselves. If all you live for is weekends and going out and getting hammered beyond recognition, you are an alcoholic, plain and simple. Your addiction might not be as bad as other people have it, but its a slippery slope and you can fall just as hard with alcohol.

What are they just pregaming ?

thanks for proving my point dan

I never have smoked weed and I have never been drunk. Not saying that I have never drank at all because I have. I have self-control. I have known many sucessful and smart people that smoked pot on a regular basis. But I have also seen many failures and retards at the same time. People bring in the alcohol argument, Should it be illegal? Well maybe it should, it wouldn’t change my life if it was. Maybe alcohol needs to be more strictly regulated and if marijuana were to be legalized it would have to be strictly governed as well. Personally I hate being around drunks just as much as people that are high, its annoying and a burden to me and I don’t feel like dealing with either. The amount of alcohol consumed effects people in different ways, I am not sure if that goes for the same with weed. But in my eyes it makes alcohol easily regulated, it just needs to be implemented. Weed again I dont know if there are ways to tell how high you are…

Anyway It doesnt effect me either way. I just dont want to deal with high or drunk people on a regular basis, thats Y I regulate my own personal environment to limit the possibility of dealing with either

still the main point of stoners is that two wrongs make a right… you can’t mitigate that just by saying regulate alcohol more.

but I guess the irony is pretty funny.

everybody in this country is a drug user in one way or another. from something as simple as caffeine in energy drinks to the multitude of over the counter medicines. they will all chemically alter your state of being…some way more than marijuana ever could. all drugs are harmless till taken in excess. to single out certain drugs and ban them while allowing others to be sold over the counter…its not right. someone who has taken too much cough syrup is just as much a danger to society as someone who just shot up too much heroin.

as far as justifying the recreational uses of marijuana…think about it the next time your sucking down an energy drink to wake up because its no different than me smoking some weed to relax. the doping effect of marijuana is very mild and as long as alcohol and caffeine are socially acceptable…there is no logical reason marijuana shouldnt be.

you just said two wrongs make a right but with extra words… same argument repackaged, but just as pointless.

everybody’s a harmless recreational user until they’re not.

three lefts make a right… they just need one more.

Is there any good to weed? other than to “relax” at the cost of pumping carcinogens into your lungs?

are you serious.?.. redbull vs pot… when i drive on redbull… im more alert… when i drive on weed (which i never have) but when people do, they are relaxed, drowsy, etc etc… that comparison is retarded
