I dont do drugs, but i would seriously consider voting in favor of some drugs being legalized.
If they were legal there would be no need for a black market, prices would drop, it would become useless for organized crime/gangs to be in the drug business, crime would drop etc…
set up some sort of system to regulate it like alcohol and i think it might work
I’m not sure if i would vote yes or no on the issue, but i think it is intriguing and is worth discussing. Let’s face it the system we have now isnt working, and this might be a promising alternative
if the fucking politicians would realize that they are making too much money, our taxes wouldn’t need to be so damn high…thus, not requiring pot-smokers to pay taxes on it.
BUT with how many smokers there are, the amount of revenue generated on mary-jane-tax would be phenomenal. (depending on how many potheads actually pay the tax. lol)
1.) Legalize
2.) Tax
3.) Free up the other half of cops’ time to do actual police work
4.) Save millions on not putting people in prison and through the justice system for possession
5.) Use additional revenue and police time to focus on real crimes
everybody wins
I’ve never ever heard of anybody doing violent stuff with just weed. maybe if they’re angry drunks and had weed too, or any other combination of weed and really harsh drugs. But not weed alone.
yea pot is a major depressent. unless your unstable to begin with it could cause some adverse effects but 99% of people won’t act like that. the percentage of people that may do that is less then the amount then a person drinking alcohol.
though no drug is healthy for you weed is possibly the least impacting of them all.
Put 20 random people in a room and feed them all the weed they want. Then, put 20 random people in a room and give them alcohol.
The pot smokers are all going to laugh their asses off, search for some food, and then pass the eff out. The drinkers are going to be loud, fucking annoying, someone will most likely get into a fight, and the night will probably end with a lot of vomiting.
I always thought it was so funny when people who are Pro Drinking would hate on pot.
I agree with Dre about decriminalizing it. Ive watched shows on tv where regular people pretend to be doctors, and like 5 people will end up dying all while making 2 million dollars because of their scams. These guys only get 5-10 years in prison, yet if you are caught carrying a significant amount of weed on you, the penalty could be more than double that.
Wait, it is your opinion that people do that? Or a fact? Or you just made up random examples to support your arguement, with no first or second hand experience with marijuana.
People tend to group weed in the hard drugs category because its illegal. When weed is finally legalized (but who knows when that will happen) 50 years after it is made legal it will basically be looked at the same way caffeine is. Seriously, who knows what might happen in the next 100 years. Maybe caffeine will even be made illegal and pot will be totally acceptable.
