Let's Talk Seats!

Hey Guys,
I’m looking for an affordable bucket seat (non-reclinable) for my S13 coupe (with power sunroof). I have a few considerations that I am looking at during my search.

  1. I am a 38" waist…not a small guy but not HUGE
  2. I am worried about clearance between the roof and the top of the seat considering I drive a S13 with a power sunroof…so I have even less then the guys with no/moonroofs
  3. It has to be affordable. Too me…the $800+ for ONE Sparco Evo3 seems a little much…but if all in all that’s the only/best choice I will just save more.
  4. I do not care what company makes it as long as it is a good seat that I can use at the track and not worry about safety issues.

What do you guys think is the best choice out there?

evo 2 shood be good for u

swing by JRP and test fit the seats before settling down with your purchase, try out the Sparco Fighter or the Sparco Pro 2000 as well.

I have a set of corbeau forzas, I have a 30" waist. The forza II, which are now called the forza wide are made for a larger waste. They are affordable and feel great.

Mine are mounted with stationary brackets so dont compare the height with mine. But a set of aftermarket brackets should be about the same height.

Old… there was already a thread about this…

I can tell you if you use side mount brackets you’ll gain a few inches of headroom over the stock seats with a good bucket. I have tons of room with my Bride, and a fixed bucket can swing you even more room, depending on how you mount it.
