i did some looking around, and i can’t really find anything to back up a rumor i heard that the lexus lf-a ran around nurburgring (sp) at 7:18 unofficially. i dont care if its official or not, i just want to know if thats true… but i looked and didnt find anything that seemed legit.

Don’t know if it’s true… Even if it’s “unofficial” some website, some blog, somewhere would make a mention of it if it happened. I was interested in this too and did a quick search, including Google.co.jp about a 7:18 time but nothing turned up.

yes it ran an unofficial 7:18. THere is so much controvery of this unofficial time. Lexus says they run it but thats all they will say. They are actually delaying the release even more and bringing the car back in for development after the times the GTR SpecV got. Nissan and toyota are going to get themselves into a pissing contest about who car has a bigger dick and the price tags are just going to keep going up
i say keep the pissing contect alive. these cars are getting fast as shit.
