a friend is trying to convince me to go for the krzr…it looks like it has more bells and whistles, but i’ll rarely use all of them, probably wont even take the time to learn all of them to be honest…

and i really like the styling of the chocolate a lot better…and the fact that the 8500 has better video/picture quality means a lot to me because i dont even own a camera, this will be it…so i’m leaning toward the chocolate, but am still considering the krzr just because i dont know a lot about these phones, and what kinda reception i’ll get, what problems LG and Motorola have had in the past with their products…so any and all opinions and recommendation would be helpful, thanks…

aren’t they both 1.3 mp cameras??

my new phone > both

But I cant divulge what model it is till I actually receive it :snky:

i would not get the krzr it looks a lot like the razor which is so played out its not even funny anymore

i need speakerphone, so i would go with KRZR. and the RAZR is really fragile this may be to.

Ive also seen that alot of the slider phones, the locking mech will bust and it slides freely.

Also i freind of mine with a chocalate says he sometimes hits the mute button with his face and its very annoying. So be warned.

razr sucks for vzw, but ide say overall motorola makes a great product

i always buy moto

i’m in the same predicament…but im a text message queen and the more i stop and play woth the chocolate to more i realize how much different its going to be to textm*not like it should weigh on my decision THAT much). At the same time i had a lot of problems with motos in the past and that kinda turns me off to them.

as with any new phone you should give it a few months for all the quirks to be worked out…keep that in mind

I have the chocolate two of my buddies have the razr. Mines better. feels better works way cooler.does pretty much the same as the razr’s and its just a sweet phone!

let them work the kinks out of the krzr for the next few months before you get it.

also the 8500 has a software update out, that enables the speakerphone.

personally i dont like either option

so i just got back from verizon with my new chocolate…definitely the hotness…then again, compared to my old audiovox, anything is…

great reception, easy to use…the only thing i’ve noticed that i dont like so far is that the keys are a lot smaller and closer togethr than i’m use to…and i have big thumbs, so its a bit of a hastle…

now i just need a bluetooth headset, a 2GB memory stick, and whatever hardware it needs to be able to hook it up to my computer…
