I never said they were fast stock. Overall I think they are the most stylish stock truck with lots if potential. Every one has their opinion though.

So are you trying to single handily redefine the term “truck” lol That means any small pickup truck like an S10 is not a “real truck” either because they surely don’t offer more “work ability” then a lightning. Owning a truck doesn’t mean you have to haul a ton of dirt in the bed to justify having one. Throwing a couch in the bed or a 4 wheeler is just as useful.

I like Lightnings but it is in no way an “all around perfect truck” just because it can haul stuff IMO. I’ve seen Corolla’s and Neon’s towing stuff. A perfect truck could haul stuff on & off the road and still kick ass at the strip. I’d be worried to take a Lightning off flat pavement.

All around perfect truck? That’s pushing it. The lightning is an good performance truck. I like ford styling and i love the motor.
But for working there are much better trucks out there.
