I would have been very disappointed if Laviolette had won this. Even though they won the cup, Pete showed no faith in his goalies, and he had to deal with very few hardships throughout the year.

Lindy on the otherhand… injuries throughout the season, and even a problem with his family, and the Sabres still showed up everynight and finished strong.

EXACTLY MY THOUGHTS… taking the canes to game 7 with only 2 starting defenseman and 4 others from rochester… Congrats to one hell of a season!
