Does anyone happen to know a place in or around buffalo that would be able to supply 16" Diam/Wide x 2" Thick 4140 steel round or square billets? Would need 5-10 of them.

edit: I read your dementions as 16"X2’ (as in feet not inches) I was thinking WTF would he use all the metal for.
Thanks for the tip, I’ll give them a ring if I have any issues locating it through my current machine shop. I’m really looking for a direct Steel supplier however, a machine shop is just another middle-man I am looking to avoid if possible.

Yep, more than likely its going to have to be out of cut plate.
needs to be 4140 for overall strength and ability to heat treat. They are for Flywheels with integral ring gears. No way I’m letting something less than 4140 spin at 6000+RPM next to my legs.
